QURAN -VERSE OF THE DAY

And they say, "Legends of the former peoples which he has written down, and they are dictated to him morning and afternoon."

~ Al-Furqan: 5 ~

DAILY PRAYERS

The prayer (Salah or Salat) also  known as Namaz, is the second of the five pillars in the Islamic faith as daily obligatory  standardized prayers. It is a physical, mental, and spiritual act of worship that is observed five times every day at prescribed times.

While facing towards the Kaaba in Mecca, Muslims pray first standing and later kneeling or sitting on the ground, reciting from the Qur’an and glorifying and praising God as they bow and prostrate themselves in between. Ritual purity is a precondition.

The Prayer is a form of worship that must be performed on time.

Narrated Abu Huraira:

I heard Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) saying, “If there was a river at the door of anyoneof you and he took a bath in it five times a day would you notice any dirt on him?” They said, “Not a trace of dirt would be left.” The Prophet (ﷺ) added, “That is the example of the five prayers with which Allah blots out (annuls) evil deeds.” – Sahih al-Bukhari 528, Book 9, Hadith 7
